Many people use white vinegar for cleaning, but here’s where you should never use it. If you use it like this you are wrong. All here.

Often and especially those who do not like cleaning with products containing chemicals prefer to use natural products. Among these there is certainly white vinegar. It is not the only one because baking soda, salt, lemon, Marseille soap and others are also often used.
In particular, however, we want to see how and when to use vinegar in cleaning but above all when to avoid it. Although it is a highly recommended ingredient, there are situations in which it is better to avoid using it. Specifically, there are cases where you should never use it.

Not only in the kitchen but also for cleaning, but now let’s see all the details together and find out when you can use it and when you can’t, based on the various surfaces. As we have said, there are cases in which it is better not to use it as it could only cause damage. You can find everything below in the next paragraph.
White vinegar: never use it here
As we were saying, there are cases in which it is better to avoid using vinegar. Many advise against it for two very specific reasons. Thefirst is because it tends to pollute and therefore it is an environmental reason. In fact, vinegar pollutes water when it is used, for example in the washing machine.
Both for the release of acetic acid and for the heavy metals that are released after contact with clothes. Then there is also the economic reason. In fact, the use of vinegar can ruin household appliances and for this reason it is not always recommended. It may corrode and you will be forced to buy them new.

It is therefore necessary to avoid using white vinegar in the washing machine or dishwasher. It should not even be used as an anti-limescale agent either with pots or taps. It is also not recommended to use screens that are smartphones, tablets or computers for cleaning.
In addition, some surfaces should not be cleaned because it tends to ruin them. Among these we certainly find marble and granite surfaces. These are the uses to avoid and in this case you may prefer citric acid to vinegar as it pollutes much less than the latter.
When to use it
We have seen when it is better to avoid using vinegar for cleaning but we certainly did not say that it should be eliminated completely. In fact, it is still an excellent cleaning product, certainly you should not exceed with the uses and you should use it when its use does not end up in the drains.

So for example it can be used to clean the refrigerator or to wash the floors. Or even to clean glass or other surfaces that are not of the materials indicated above. It also helps eliminate bad odors from carpets and mattresses. Youdon’t have to stop using it but use it in the correct way.
