What to do if you suddenly see this animal appear? All the tips to avoid panicking.

With the return of summer, we return to open the windows to allow our house to enjoy the sun’s rays and at the same time to circulate the air in all rooms, so as to have a little coolness especially in the hottest hours. However, in the summer months some ‘guests’ appear again in the garden, on the balcony, on the windowsill and sometimes even inside the house. These are insects such as flies and mosquitoes, which often invade the rooms of the apartment, but also other small animals such as spiders, which we often see popping up in the corners of the house. As long as it comes to small spiders, we don’t have much to worry about. Experts tend to remember that these little animals are useful because they feed on parasites.
He sees a giant spider appear in the kitchen: what to do in these cases
However, when we come across a giant spider things change. Although it is fortunately not so frequent an experience, it can happen that you are faced with a spider of very large size.

This is exactly what happened to a man who saw the giant spider emerge from the kitchen – the video went viral on Instagram – and screamed very loud in fear. What to do in these cases?
Spiders that are this large are usually singled out as wolf spiders. We find them mainly in the regions of Central and Southern Italy, but also in Spain, where they are usually also larger.
The wolf spider is distinguished by the length of its legs and the thick fur that distinguishes its abdomen. In most cases, the wolf spider tends to settle in the countryside and loves to stay in its den.
It almost never poses a danger to humans, although it could bite if it feels in danger. The consequences, fortunately, are not worrying, since its bite is very similar to that of an insect.
To make a long story short, if we are faced with this large spider, the advice is not to kill it, but to try to get it out of the apartment.
The spider feeds on flies, mosquitoes and various insects: never kill it
Generally, the wolf spider tends to enter the house when it needs a safe place to attract prey with the web. All we have to do is invite him to go out, perhaps using a broom and pushing him away towards the door or balcony. As soon as the spider is out of the house, it will return to its burrow.

However, if we fear that the wolf spider may have made its own den at home, it is advisable to carefully check the entire floor of your home, since this type of arachnid is very well on the ground and does not like to climb walls.
As mentioned above, the important thing is not to kill them because spiders play an important role in the home ecosystem. Arachnids, in fact, feed on flies, mosquitoes and other insects that cause much more annoyance than spiders.
The wolf spider, as well as the vast majority of spider species living in Italy, does not create any real danger to humans, so we should not be too alarmed if we find one at home.
