Vinegar is a basic ingredient in the kitchen that is never missing from our pantries. We use it to season starters, second courses and side dishes, it manages to give a different flavor to each food making it even more tasty and appetizing.

Few people know that it is actually a revolutionary product not only at home because it allows cleaning in less time but above all to achieve excellent results, but also in the garden.
For those who don’t know, vinegar saves plants by making them lush, healthy, and obviously much more beautiful. In particular, it can be useful for azaleas and gardenias that need acidic soil to grow well.
Miracle Solution to Make Plants Even More Beautified
To make the two plants mentioned above even more beautiful than usual, add 150 ml of vinegar directly to the water used to water them, diluted in 3 liters of water. The solution not only increases the acidity of the soil, but also provides the plants with iron, which is a fundamental mineral for them because it allows them to grow well.

It can be said then that vinegar is a fantastic natural herbicide that, if poured directly on unwanted weeds, kills them once and for all. While if you want to prevent its growth in some specific areas of the orchard or garden, just spray a little on the areas to be treated and add a little salt to enhance the effects giving incredible results.
Obviously, you have to be careful where you spray, because being a herbicide, it can also kill some delicate plants like sage. All it takes is for the two things to accidentally come into contact and great damage occurs.
Keep pests away by using vinegar, here’s how
Vinegar can scare away ants and pests that kill or ruin plants. In this case, it is enough to apply a very small amount of vinegar directly to the plants preparing a solution to pour into an aerosol. Here’s how we do: We mix three parts water, one part vinegar, and a small teaspoon of dish detergent.

Once done, shake the container to mix all the ingredients well and then spray the solution on the interested parties and you’re done. As for cut flowers, however, you can make sure that they last much longer in your home.
Simply moisten them with a solution of two tablespoons of vinegar and one tablespoon of sugar. Be careful because these amounts are good for a quart of water, so as the water increases, so do the amounts of vinegar and sugar.
Use vinegar to remove dirt or rust
Lastly, it can be helpful in cleaning and disinfecting tools used for pruning and tilling, especially if they are rusty. On the other hand, as they are tools that are rarely maintained, they rust easily. Unfortunately, it’s dangerous to use them because if you cut yourself you can take very significant risks.

In this case, you can apply pure vinegar on the parts affected by the appearance of rust stains or simply dirt, as it is capable of removing even rust, or you can dip the material directly into the vinegar, which is miraculous.
The same can be done to disinfect terracotta pots that you want to move into your home and that you don’t really know how to clean them. Simply dip them in a solution of 25% vinegar and 75% water, then brush them and a big problem that would have otherwise created discomfort and confusion is solved.
