Ingredients required:

  • peels of 4 lemons
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons of detergent
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons of alcohol (70% or other)

Preparation steps:

  1. Prepare the peels   : Mix the lemon peels with 500 ml of water in a blender until you get a homogeneous mass.
  2. Filtering   : Pass the mixture through a sieve to obtain only the liquid.
  3. Add the other ingredients   : Add a tablespoon of baking soda (be careful, it foams!), then add 3 tablespoons of dish soap, a tablespoon of salt and 3 tablespoons of alcohol. Mix well.
  4. Transfer   : Pour the solution into a spray bottle or old cleaning container for easier application.

Use :

  • This cleaner is perfect for removing stubborn stains from sinks, countertops, tiles, floors and even rust stains. It is also suitable for cleaning marble or quartz surfaces.
  • Apply it to the surface to be cleaned, leave it for a few minutes and then rub it in lightly before rinsing.

Tip No. 2: Powerful shower and glass cleaner

Ingredients required:

  • 6 tablespoons of detergent
  • 6 tablespoons of alcohol (70% or other)
  • 3 tablespoons of baking powder

Preparation steps:

  1. Mix ingredients   : In a container, mix 6 tablespoons of dish soap, 6 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol and 3 tablespoons of baking soda.
  2. Mix well   : Stir until a homogeneous solution is obtained.

Use :

  • This cleaner is ideal for removing limescale, hard water and soap residue from glass shower walls.
  • Apply with a sponge or cloth in circular motions. No need to scrub hard! Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse with water.
