With this quick and easy method, washing the tulle will become child’s play: the fabric will become very white again.

Fashion and clothing enthusiasts are certainly familiar with tulle, a fabric named after the French city of the same name. The structure of the tulle is characterized by a leno gauze with the round threads that straddle the straight threads, thus forming a very resistant weave. In addition to classic clothing, tulle is also widely used in dance (where it is used for tutus) and in Carnival disguises, as well as in theatrical costumes. Tulle, like other fabrics, also needs to be bleached to always have it perfectly clean.
The best remedy for whitening tulle: here’s how to do it
Over time, in fact, white tulle can get dirty and take on a grayish color that is decidedly less pleasant than white.
This is especially the case with curtains in the kitchen and are therefore exposed to stains of all kinds. When this situation occurs, there is nothing you can do but wash the tulle.

The first thing to do is to load the tulle in the washing machine. Once this step is completed, we must make sure we have aspirin or acetylsalicylic acid at home.
The other essential ingredient to bring tulle back to a splendid white color is baking soda, an element that is often used at home to clean and sanitize.
Take two aspirin tablets and put them inside the washing machine, in the middle of the tulle curtains. The baking soda is added to the compartment of the washing machine dedicated to pre-washing (a large spoonful is fine).
In the main compartment, i.e. the washing compartment, we will instead insert the cleansing gel (a small glass).
As for the program to choose, the advice is to always wash this fabric in synthetic mode, setting the temperature to 30 degrees.
It is a rather delicate material, so aggressive washing should be avoided. Let’s not forget to activate the pre-wash, since the action of baking soda is very important to ensure that the tulle eliminates all traces of dirt and returns to its original white color.
The tulle will return as white as when you bought it
Once the washing is complete, we can open the door of the washing machine and take out the garment. This step must be done immediately, i.e. as soon as the washing machine finishes the cycle.

In fact, it must remain inside the basket as little as possible, otherwise there is a risk that it will wrinkle. To avoid this problem, it must be removed immediately from the washing machine and put back in its place.
The first thing we will notice is that the fabric will have an intoxicating scent, a sign that the ingredients used have worked perfectly. In addition, taking a look we will see that the fabric will be white again, with a thorough cleaning in practically every corner.
With this quick and easy method, which can be done with a few simple steps, anyone can wash this fabric without running the risk of ruining this much-loved fabric.
