You can buy specific glass cleaners from a specialist shop or use a dish cleaner diluted in water. Dish soap, unlike other cleaning products, is gentle and does not damage glass.
When cleaning the windows of the house, cold or warm water can be used to rinse the glass after cleaning it. This is because hot water could cause streaks to form.
For window cleaning we can use a sponge or a soft, non-abrasive cloth to clean the windows. Rough cloths or abrasive sponges that could scratch the glass should be avoided.
On the market you can also find specific tools for cleaning windows, such as those used by window cleaners with telescopic handles. These tools can make window cleaning easier and faster.
In general, to clean window panes, you should spray the cleaner on the glass, then wipe with a sponge or soft cloth, and finally rinse with water.
You should avoid cleaning the windows on sunny days, as the heat could cause halos. In addition, cleaning the windows in the cooler hours of the day is preferable, in order to avoid the rapid evaporation of the detergent.
Shining for 3 weeks
A special ingredient, which allows us to wash the windows only after several weeks is isopropanol. It is a 99.9% cleaning alcohol, a really fantastic ingredient for cleaning windows.
With this product you will not leave streaks or streaks on the windowsthat would only make us waste more time cleaning the windows.
To make it, all we have to do is pour 100 ml of isopropanol into 200 ml of water in a package equipped with a spray and shake well.
First of all, we take care of cleaning the coarsest dirt well with water, just dip a cloth in the water and clean the windows well. When this dirt is gone, we move on to drying the windows, and then we can use our miracle product.
Once the mixture has been sprayed on the glass, you start rubbing with a clean cloth all over the window and it will not only be perfectly clean and polished but also protected from the onset of new dirt, almost like a reflective shield. The result is certainly something to be proud of, we won’t have to clean for weeks!
