Wooden floors are beautiful to look at but difficult to care for, clean and polish. Those who have them would love to find the best way to polish them and make them perfect from every point of view, without ruining them, staining them or making them opaque.

Wooden flooring is a courageous choice, on one hand it is extremely elegant, it gives a completely different charm to houses, both those furnished in a modern style and those furnished in a traditional way.
It has been very popular lately, but those who have installed it with satisfaction at home have quickly discovered that taking care of it is not easy and not everyone can do it because it requires a lot of patience as well as products that cost a lot but do not always give good results.
Wooden floors, be careful when choosing the products you use for sanitization
Keeping wooden floors clean and shiny is much more difficult than taking care of porcelain, terracotta, or ceramic floors that can be cleaned with a rag and any type of detergent.

This type of floor must be treated with the right products because otherwise in a few weeks it becomes opaque. To have it always shiny and bright you must use water in the right quantities and detergents in delicate and non-aggressive composition.
How to clean parquet so as not to damage it
Some detergents, even if they cost a lot, end up compromising the final result, scratching or dulling the parquet.
So if you choose to buy ready-made detergents, we recommend first trying them in a corner that you can’t see and then proceeding with sanitizing the entire floor if the result is acceptable or at least good once dry.
Before washing it, you need to use a vacuum cleaner to suck up dust and dirt, the vacuum cleaner must be of good quality, not old or damaged and must have the right brushes to avoid damaging the wooden floor.

If you use the wrong vacuum cleaner, with an unsuitable piece you risk damaging the wooden floor because it can happen that it scratches or that very annoying streaks form.
There are some good quality wooden floors that can be perfectly polished with just a few natural products, and others that have synthetic varnishes that are difficult to treat and require more delicacy and attention.
After the parquet is washed, especially after a long time, it becomes dull, very opaque, dull, giving the sensation of being an old floor, used, to be replaced. The main reason for all this is the use of the wrong product.
A decisive product that gives great satisfaction, here’s how to prepare it at home in just a few minutes
But don’t worry, because the problem is easily solved by using a homemade solution that allows you to wash the floor in a few seconds, without scrubbing and getting too tired, obtaining a magnificent result.

What you need is a liter of water, preferably hot, into which you need to pour a bottle of vinegar and some drops of essential oil of your choice. The detergent can obviously be stored and used whenever needed.
As for essential oils, it is recommended to use lavender which relaxes and perfumes the environment. Then rather than using the mop, which absorbs too much water, it is recommended to buy a soft cloth to pass over the wooden floor after having wet it with water, vinegar and essential oil.
After passing the cloth over the parquet, it will be visibly shiny, while the home environment will be pleasantly scented . All this spending a maximum of two euros or even less and using ingredients that everyone already has at home.
