I always buy lemons by weight and then freeze them. That’s why I do it.

Lemons are a source of vitamins and nutrients, especially important in winter when the body needs vitamin C.

First reason

Fresh lemons don’t last long: they spoil quickly.

It is not rational to buy them regularly, given the increase in prices.

That’s why I freeze lemons to make them last longer. I wash them, cut them into slices, place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and pop them in the freezer for several hours.

In winter, you can simply take lemons out to the balcony or garden if you live in a private house.

Second reason

Few people know that when they are frozen quickly, the nutrient level in lemons increases.

Thus, frozen lemons are much healthier than fresh ones.

Third reason

Frozen lemons are convenient to use as needed. They’re great to add to a variety of dishes and drinks.

Most of the time I add frozen lemon to my tea. This tea does not burn, but it becomes pleasant and refreshing.

The benefits of lemon iced tea are undeniable and the pleasure of drinking it is truly a delight.
