Kitchen burners experience  a lot of  “stress”   on our part  . As test cooks, we try to prepare delicious specialties, but the grease, sauce and other splatters end up making a mess      and spoiling the food.

Most of us think that      just putting them in the dishwasher      will make them look like new, but unfortunately that’s not the case. Although this system is convenient and very tiring,      it can actually adversely affect your beauty.

The aluminum from which they are made becomes cloudy when in contact with aggressive cleaning agents, or worse, darkens and is permanently damaged, without the possibility of restoring its original appearance.

However, thorough hygiene should not be ignored after cleaning the plate. Here, natural remedies and our grandmother’s methods help us.

Follow our step-by-step instructions and your burners will shine for years.

This is how gas stove burners should be cleaned, but we all make mistakes

How to clean stove burners

To clean and disassemble the oven burners you will need:

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar;
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice;
  • 1 liter of water;
  • Baking powder to taste.

Pour water into a pot and bring to a boil     . While you wait, remove all heat (except the one in the pan, of course), turn off the gas at the right time, and submerge them in the pan.      Add vinegar and lemon juice and let sit for an hour.      When the solution is cold, lift the burners one at a time and use an old toothbrush to vigorously scrub any areas that are still scabby. To help, soak it in      baking soda.

Once they are shiny and like new, rinse them under running water and dry well.

However, the flame diffuser must be handled separately.      You only need liquid detergent for cleaning. Or, if you prefer, a dishwasher. Unlike burners, the materials that make it up do not change during this washing.

But now that you know how to do it right, you are no longer in danger of damaging your wonderful oven.

Good to know, right?
