The orchid is one of the favorite plants of women, it beautifies and embellishes the house with magnificent colors, simply cheerful, that make the environment warm and inviting. Many women keep it in the living room, others in the garden, on the terrace or balcony, or even on the windowsill.

Unfortunately, not all of us have a green thumb, there are those who simply cannot take care of plants, although they have made a thousand different attempts to achieve a good result. If a sapling dies despite care and attention, we swear to ourselves not to take any more, then we usually give up and history repeats itself. If your orchid is almost dead, don’t worry, the last word hasn’t been said yet, it may be that you can somehow bring it back to life and make sure it is perfect again, in magnificent condition.
The trick to bring the orchid back to life
By intervening in the world that follows, you can remedy a situation that is certainly unpleasant and complicated, sometimes even dramatic. Very few ingredients and tools that we all have at home or that are easy to find in any store are enough to bring the dead orchid back to life without spending too much money and without any effort. What you need is cinnamon powder, a plastic bottle, scissors, a sponge for the dishes, used foam is fine too, a plastic bag, some bark, a steamer for the water, and a pot for the plants.
Here’s how and what you can do to revive the plant in a few simple steps
The plant is removed from the pot, dead parts are removed, then the branches, petals, decimal leaves, roots are dried. Sterilized scissors are used for this. You then take the cinnamon powder and pour it over it, which prevents the flower from acquiring moldy fungi or other diseases. At this time, the orchid is placed in a dry place for two days. It should be placed on a cotton cloth. Then it is transplanted, for this you need a plastic bottle whose neck is cut, then holes are made in the bottom that serve to let the excess water flow. A damp sponge is placed on the base, it should be sterilized and cleaned, even if used, then the orchid is placed on top and covered with a bag. This serves to create the greenhouse effect, which allows the seedling to grow quickly in the heat and protected from the elements. The bottle should be completely covered, the bag should stay still so you can connect the cord if you’re worried it might move. All this serves to help the orchid recover after a maximum of one to two months and return to being a plant full of life. Then remember that it must be exposed to the sun all year round, except in summer, otherwise it will die from excessively high temperatures. Once the new roots have germinated, the plant is transplanted and that’s it.

What you need to know to take good care of the plant all year round
It should be noted that when watering the orchid, you should not use the usual method of pouring water directly on it. The best method would be natural, i.e. rainwater, since tap water is dangerous because it is calcareous water. It is best to submerge the pot in a bucket of water for up to 5-10 minutes. The seedling lives best in humid places such as the kitchen or bathroom.

Which soil is best to use?
It is advisable not to use regular potting soil, but the special potting soil for orchids, which is available in all plant stores and nurseries. Fertilization is necessary and takes place twice a month from March to October. If the plant has wilted or is about to wilt, it can be made to bloom again by simply cutting the branch above the second node. It can happen that the plant develops aerial roots that even come out of the pot. Although you may have the opposite feeling, this is a sign of the plant’s well-being, it means that it is doing very well, consequently, it is not necessary to act in any way.
