For successful growth and development of seedlings, it is important to start applying fertilizers as early as the fifth day after emergence, experienced gardeners advise. Today I will share with you a recipe for an effective fertilizer made exclusively with natural ingredients available in any home. This is a banana peel supplement to which iodine is added, the value of which is often underestimated. This fertilizer significantly promotes the growth of seedlings.

The main advantage of this method is the availability of ingredients and their absolute safety, which eliminates the risk of harming others. Use only ripe banana peels for feeding, avoiding dark and overripe fruits.

This husk is saturated with beneficial microelements for plants, especially potassium, which helps seedlings adapt better to home conditions. The husk also contains magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and a small amount of nitrogen, which plants absorb quickly due to the activity of soil bacteria.

To prepare the fertilizer, take 1 liter of water, add a banana cut into pieces and let it rest for three days. After infusion, the solution is filtered and a drop of iodine is added to it, preventing overstretching of seedling stems under less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

The iodine infusion is mixed and used to water the seedlings without additional dilution, 1-2 teaspoons per plant. This natural fertilizer not only stimulates the growth and development of seedlings, but also strengthens them, providing a better start for the future harvest.
