Perhaps many gardeners, even those with a lot of experience, have encountered the fact that sometimes unexpected losses occur after picking seedlings. It is especially disappointing to lose young plants of rare or expensive varieties.

Using gliocladin to collect seedlings: I recently managed to buy such valuable seeds, but, unfortunately, out of the five sown, only three sprouted. And this time I decided to use gliocladin, which I had already used successfully several years ago. This organic product has been shown to be effective in promoting rapid rooting and healthy plant growth.

Glyocladin is available in powder and tablet form, which is especially convenient during harvesting. When repotting each plant, such as tomatoes or peppers, I add a Glyocladin tablet to the pot, which prevents problems with seedlings in the future. The main component of the drug is the trichoderma fungus, a natural fungicide of biological origin.

Trichoderma is a beneficial microscopic fungus that effectively suppresses up to 60 types of pathogenic microorganisms that threaten plant health. The effect of the tablet continues even after planting the seedlings in the greenhouse, as the beneficial microorganisms continue to protect the plant from harmful fungi.

My experience shows that gliocladin is an excellent remedy not only for seedlings, but also for houseplants. Thanks to it, even improper care will not lead to the development of a black leg. Once, after accidental overwatering of the seedlings, the trunk of one of the plants began to darken. Without hesitation, I used a gliocladin tablet and within a week the problem was gone.

Trichoderma, in addition to suppressing pathogens, secretes antibiotics such as viridine, glycoxin, satsukkalin and trichodermin. These substances not only destroy harmful microorganisms, but also help strengthen plant immunity.
