Secrets and tips from experts are always useful to clean the bathroom and keep it smelling fresh for a long time.

What everyone wants is to be able to clean the bathroom and make sure it smells good for a whole week. With the products that are currently circulating, not all these benefits are obtained because each one has a different use. That’s why cleaning experts decided to make homemade laundry detergent by mixing in a few essentials. What do you get? An excellent detergent for the complete cleaning of sanitary facilities, perfumed and sanitizing. Let’s find out together how to achieve it.
DIY Bathroom Cleaner: Ingredients
Doing it yourself is always a big commitment, especially when it’s impossible to find detergents that can achieve multiple purposes. From the complete cleaning to the hygiene of all the sanitary facilities, including the excellent perfume that lasts a whole week.
To have such a product with little money, you just have to create one directly at home with these ingredients:
- Washing powder – 3 tablespoons;
- Boiling water – 500 ml;
- Liquid detergent – 300 ml;
- Lavender Floor Detergent – 300 ml
- Agua: 1 litro;
- Fine salt – 2 tablespoons.

Proceed in two different steps. First, take a container and put the clothes in it, then the boiling water.
Mix well before adding dish detergent. Mix all the ingredients together and add the lavender-scented floor detergent.
In another bowl, pour 1 liter of water and dissolve 2 tablespoons of fine salt, combining the substance with the previous one. All the ingredients meet and mix, creating a homemade bathroom cleaner.
How to use the cleanser? Expert Tips
At your disposal you have 2 liters of detergent to clean the sanitary facilities, to pour into a classic bottle or with the spray. How to use it? It’s very simple and cheap.
Clean the sink first by spraying a generous dose directly onto surfaces or onto a pre-moistened sponge. It is passed throughout the sink, sanitizing and perfumed the environment, then rinsing well with warm water.

The same applies to the shower, bathtub and toilet by passing the detergent obtained over the surfaces that will then be rinsed thoroughly. Not only on the outer surfaces of the toilet, but the DIY substance can also be sprayed on the inside.
Leave on for at least 5 minutes and then use the brush to remove dirt, grease and bacteria. Flush the toilet and repeat every few days.
In addition to cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bathroom, you can enjoy a fragrant atmosphere for a whole week. Any advice? To keep surfaces clean and fragrant for longer, after rinsing surfaces thoroughly, it is best to dry them with a dry cloth. Excess water not only creates limescale, but also mold and unpleasant odors.
