To get rid of pests, treat cabbage seedlings with a simple yet effective solution. Add 5 cloves of garlic, separated in a press, to a liter of boiling water, add there 10 grams of citric acid (2 teaspoons).

Turn off the heat, mix everything, close the lid and let it infuse for 2 days.

Before basting the cabbage, strain the solution. We treat with a spray bottle, applying the product both on the leaves and under the root.

No need to strain the solution. The acid will dissolve completely and the garlic will settle in two days, it will be enough to be careful when putting the product in the atomizer; I do exactly this and carefully pour the sediment with pieces of garlic under the root of the plant.

It is best to perform the treatment at night; it is enough to do it once a week. We process it for the first time when the leaves first appear, and we continue to do so until the cabbage is fully formed.

For seedlings per 100 shrubs, 0.5 liters of solution is enough, if a head of cabbage is already forming, about 20 shrubs with this volume can be treated; If you spray regularly, you’ll need some solution; One liter is enough for 2 treatments.

I use the solution from the time the seedlings are planted until harvest, so that the cabbage does not get sick, insects do not eat its leaves and it is stored much better.
