and dry roots. Carry out the pruning with a well-sharpened and previously disinfected tool.

Place the prepared plant in a glass container of water, so that the roots are completely in the liquid, but do not reach the leaf. Hydrogen peroxide should be added to the water; Its volume should be one-fifth of the total amount of liquid. Peroxide prevents rot and works as a gentle root disinfectant. Place the container with the orchid on a bright windowsill, but so that direct sunlight does not reach it. Since the water will evaporate, periodically check its level and add liquid.

It will take about a month and a half to revive the plant. After this time, the roots strengthen and grow, and the first small leaves appear. Now it is necessary to transplant the plant into a small pot.

Use only a special primer and make sure to disinfect it beforehand. After planting, the orchid is moistened by soaking it in water for a quarter of an hour.

Full rooting will take an extra month or two, during which time not only will new roots appear, but the peduncle will also begin to develop.
