To do this, you can soak the seeds in hydrogen peroxide, which is always available in pharmacies. This is a really important procedure that allows even old seeds to boost development.

This handling is recommended for seeds of crops that have germination problems, such as bell peppers, watermelons, eggplants, cucumbers, tomatoes, and zucchini. This procedure is also useful for plants with a high content of essential oils: carrots, parsnips, parsley, celery and fennel.

- Prepare the mixture by mixing 200 ml of water with a teaspoon of peroxide.
- Place the seeds of sowing in cloth or cheesecloth, tie them together and place them in a container with the mixture.
