The planting of cucumbers should not be done all at once, but in stages. This approach makes it possible to avoid thickening of plantations and quickly remove fruit-bearing shrubs, without waiting for them to become sick and produce low yields.

The deadline for planting cucumbers is the end of June. I do the main sowing at the end of May. Now you can see cucumbers planted just a few days ago, when they were in the 2 cotyledons stage.

To help cucumbers take root and not slow down their growth, you can use a little trick that improves the survival rate of cucumber seedlings and other plants grown from dried seed. As soon as the cucumbers come to the surface, it is recommended to spill them with a solution of succinic acid.

This acid aids in the formation of roots and accelerates the growth of plants, making them resistant to unpredictable weather conditions, especially during periods of sudden changes in temperature. A solution of succinic acid can also revive plants if they have suffered frost or drought, remove the concentration of harmful nitrates in the soil, and normalize the balance of microorganisms.

To prepare the working solution, it is necessary to dissolve 2 grams of succinic acid in 10 liters of water. It is recommended to water plants with this solution on a cloudy day or at night, after preliminary watering with running water. Keep in mind that the allowed dose of succinic acid per 10 liters of water is up to 5 grams, so as not to acidify the soil. In addition to cucumbers, you can water other plants, both after planting and before.
