A safe and quick way to get rid of aphids in the garden: the method is over 40 years old
My grandmother used my method extensively to get rid of aphids and I’m sure many of you know about it thanks to old gardening books. I tried this method myself last year and the results were impressive. However, this method has its limitations. It is designed to quickly eliminate aphids, but its effect is short-lived.
Let’s now move on to the recipe itself. To prepare this product we need 200 ml of green soap for every 10 liters of water. If you don’t have green soap, you can use regular household soap, grate it first. Aim for about 100 grams of soap. Then, add 2-3 tablespoons of ammonia and mix well. Your solution is ready.
Now treat the areas where aphids live with this solution. Ammonia has a suppressive effect on aphids and soap clogs their trachea, leading to respiratory problems and the death of the pest.
Therefore, I recommend using this method to quickly remove aphids from the garden, treating the plants periodically if necessary. This is a safe and effective method that has been used for over 40 years.
