Every gardener has their own secrets to increasing cucumber production and I want to share with you a wonderful infusion that I have been using for the past five years. This infusion is not only a dressing, but also a protection against disease, and is best used in July, when garlic sprouts begin to grow. Regular feeding with this infusion in the middle of summer will not only allow you to obtain a great harvest, but also grow strong and healthy cucumber plants.

The main ingredient in this infusion is nettle. Do you know why it is recommended to use nettle as a green fertilizer? Because it is rich in calcium and potassium, which are important for cucumbers during fruiting. In addition, nettle contains nitrogen, phytoncides, vitamins and organic acids necessary for the good growth of plants.

To prepare the infusion you will need a bucket of nettles; Add about 30 cloves of garlic, which will help protect the cucumbers from disease and pests. If you don’t have garlic arrows, you can add 15 to 20 cloves of garlic. Another optional, but recommended, ingredient is mustard pulp, which will also serve as food and protection. Add about 5 tablespoons of mustard cake to the cube with nettles and garlic. Fill everything with water to the brim, mix well, and let it sit for 6-7 days.

To water the plants, dilute the infusion (2 liters) in 10 liters of clean water and feed the plants from the roots. If you want to spray the plants leaf by leaf, dilute the infusion (1 liter) in 10 liters of water. It is best to do this diet in one day to achieve the maximum effect.

After such nutrition, cucumbers will grow with double strength and a healthy appearance. Regular use of this infusion allows plants to develop faster after planting, prevents nutrient deficiency, and protects them from fungal diseases.
