How to use them? Simply take the coffee grounds and crumble them directly into the ground or put them in a liter of water to give them to our plants when they need watering. In this way, we have created a perfect fertilizer, and for free! But coffee grounds aren’t the only food waste we can get nutrients for our plants from. Banana peels, for example, are also an excellent natural fertilizer that is macerated in a glass of water, with which we can then water our plants after about two weeks.
