Vinegar in the washing machine: here’s why
Using vinegar in the washing machine instead of bleach or detergent is not only an eco-friendly option but also much cheaper. This product can be found in any supermarket at very affordable prices. But why use it for laundry? First of all, it must be said that vinegar can brighten up colors: half a cup will be enough on the clothes before placing them in the drum and that’s it! The colors will be protected and there will be no soap residue. In addition to this, vinegar can soften clothes. It can be used during the rinse cycle and you will get very soft clothes, even better than using chemical softeners like those on the market. As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, it is interesting to see how vinegar can also whiten any white garment, giving it shine and eliminating stains. In this case, we will add half a cup of vinegar during the rinsing cycle only with egg whites.

Vinegar is a great product to use in the washing machine because it can remove bad odors and stains. In the first case we think of mold and smoke, whose odors are very accentuated. With half a cup during the rinse cycle, your clothes will be very fragrant and fresh. However, as for stains, simply use vinegar to pre-treat them. For example, we can use it in useful sprays and then carry out direct treatments on the stains before doing the specific washing in the washing machine.
