Always considered an elegant and refined plant, the flowers can last for many weeks, even after being cut and  placed in a vase  , changing the water daily.

The leaves  are robust  and durable and tend to have a waxy appearance, as does the flower, which contains a spadix inside that resembles an ear of wheat in shape.

Calla lilies can also bring colorful  flowers  , which bloom from May to June until September, while  the bulbs  go on sale from the beginning of September to the end of December.

In order for this plant to grow luxuriantly, it is advisable to water it daily, but not everyone knows that, to make it more durable and shiny, there is  a special ingredient.

This is  rice water  , which, when put into the soil, tends to make the plant strong and firm, and by transferring this ingredient through the leaves, it will tend to preserve its waxy appearance and prevent  yellowing  .

To use, just  soak the rice  for a while until all the starch is released. Then drain the rice by placing the water in a container.

Depending on the use, we can  put the water  directly in the ground or in a sprayer to wash it and brighten and brighten the leaves of our calla lilies, which will be the envy of our neighbors.
