To always have soft and fluffy clothes you can rely on some of your grandmother’s remedies that are always very effective.

Everyone dreams of always having clean, fragrant and especially soft clothes. It is certainly nice to wear clothes that give off a pleasant fragrance but at the same time provide a pleasant softness to the touch. The same goes for sheets, since their softness undoubtedly helps you rest better, but also for other clothes such as bathrobes, jackets, scarves, etc. Finally, even the towels we regularly use in the bathroom need a certain level of softness. A task that is complicated by slightly older towels, since over time they tend to become less and less soft.
With these remedies, clothes will always be soft and fluffy
However, even these towels can be made as soft as the first times we used them. Some ingredients that we usually have at home can be very useful to give towels that softness that seemed lost.

Among them is white wine vinegar , an ingredient that is often used in cooking for its beneficial properties, including an effective antioxidant action.
White wine vinegar is a very popular item not only in the kitchen, but also for making clothes soft and fluffy again. How to make it? The process is very simple.
Just add three tablespoons of white wine vinegar to the compartment of the washing machine where we usually put the fabric softener . If we need to fill the washing machine with clothes and towels to wash, we can increase the amount of white wine vinegar a little, bringing it to four or five tablespoons.
Once this is done, all that remains is to start the wash and wait for the cycle to complete. When we take the clothes out of the washing machine, we will notice how pleasantly soft they have become again.
In addition to white wine vinegar, another ingredient that achieves this feat is baking soda . This element is also almost always present in the kitchen.
In this case, however, just one spoonful will be enough to put in the basket. Once the washing is finished, we will notice how the baking soda is able to guarantee the same effectiveness as the white wine vinegar.
Citric acid and Marseille soap
An excellent alternative to white wine vinegar and baking soda is citric acid. This highly effective ingredient should be dissolved in a litre of warm water: add approximately 160-170 grams for a satisfactory result.

To make the solution even softer for our clothes and towels, we can also add a dozen drops of essential oil .
Once the mixture is complete, we can add it to the washing machine tray (no more than four tablespoons). We start the wash and wait for the washing machine to complete its work . Once the cycle is finished we can remove the clothes: the softness will surprise us.
Finally, another excellent item to restore softness to clothes is Marseille soap. Simply insert a few flakes into the basket or detergent drawer and then continue washing. Even in this case, the result is guaranteed.
