To get any plant to bloom again, you just need to know the right ingredients to add to the soil – this is a panacea for the roots.

In order to  have lush flowers,  it is clear that plants need to be looked after with care. This is why it is necessary to pamper the roots periodically. If your plants are not particularly active even when they should be giving you beautiful flowers, it is possible that  something is missing in the soil  .

But before you buy any kind of product, there is another helper you should call on and that could be all that separates you from a truly blooming garden or balcony.

The secret to the best flowers and roots.

When you buy plants at a nursery, what you see is what you would like to have inside your home or garden. But often, soon after buying them, you realize that something seems to be wrong with the plants. Leaves lose their luster and flowers wither without being replaced by new ones.

This is because compared to the nursery, it is very easy for indoor plants to be a little neglected. Regardless of where they are, it would be advisable to take care of them with regular additions of  fertilizers.  In fact, the soil can quickly run out of them.

A  trick that works  because it adds a generous amount of potassium is to work with  carrots.  Because this vegetable is not only good for us but also for plants. There are several ways to use it, the easiest is to create a  liquid fertilizer  based on carrots. Let’s see the recipe and how you should then use it with your plants.

Lots of potassium and lots of flowers.

Potassium is one of the  substances  that all living beings, including us, need to live. A sufficient amount of potassium in plants ensures greater  root resistance  and vigor when flowering begins. You can use the leftovers from the salad you prepare at home or perhaps sacrifice that slightly crooked carrot that is always on every tray. About 30 grams of carrot pulp are enough to obtain  two liters of fertilizer solution  .

What you need to do is put the carrot pieces into a  blender  and add a liter of water. When you blend the carrot, it breaks into small pieces that help  release more potassium into the water  . Since it is a natural recipe,  a rest period is necessary.  Once you have blended the carrot in water, you should  let it infuse for at least 24 hours  . Avoid flooding the container with the water and carrot with sunlight.

After 24 hours, you can  filter  the liquid and dilute it with another litre of water. You can use this fertiliser either by spraying, periodically wetting the soil, or by  immersion.  If you have potted plants, you can leave the pot submerged in the water and carrot solution for about ten minutes: repeating this operation once a month will help you see strong flowers because you will have healthy roots.
