Many rely on chemical products that can be easily found on the market, but it is advisable to opt for natural remedies , which can be easily prepared at home, so as not to risk ruining the floor surface.
The first thing to do before proceeding to apply the natural remedy is to clean the marble gravel floor of all easily removable dirt, especially dust.
A job that can be done with a vacuum cleaner or a simple broom , possibly with soft bristles.
Once this step has been completed, you can proceed to the actual cleaning, which should never be done with acidic products. On the contrary, it is advisable to use pH neutral detergents on marble floors or, in any case, with delicate products that do not cause damage to the surface.

In a short time, you will see the stains disappear: the floor will be as good as new.

A good alternative to Marseille soap is denatured alcohol . We will need four tablespoons of this substance, which should be added to the bucket filled with warm water.

The procedure is the same as before, that is, dip the cloth in the solution obtained and wipe it over the floor, always rinsing afterwards with warm water.
Finally, it is also possible to create a specific product for marble gravel floors. Pour 10 tablespoons of alcohol, 3 tablespoons of baking soda and a tablespoon of Marseille soap into a container , mixing everything well.
Dip the cloth into the sink and wipe it over the area of the floor where the dirt is present. After about five minutes, rinse it , this time dipping the cloth only in warm water.
