In short, in addition to sanitizing ourselves in the best possible way, the shower is undoubtedly one of the main remedies to drive away the stress accumulated during the day.
How to make the shower drain smell good again: the simple method
However, the shower cubicle is one of the places where the greatest problems can be concentrated. The bathroom, as is well known, is one of the rooms in the house where humidity, mold and bad odors can easily form. Especially in the shower, these critical issues can emerge more frequently, forcing us to intervene to return to taking the best possible shower.
Usually, for stagnation and humidity, the most effective solution is to resort to thorough cleaning, perhaps choosing to intervene with organic and natural products that can guarantee excellent results without impacting the environment.
Even for the shower drain we can use some natural remedies that clean thoroughly and give an intoxicating scent, eliminating bad odors. The first ingredient you can use for this purpose is vinegar.
This element, in fact, has some properties that make it perfect for cleaning the house thoroughly. Vinegar is also ideal for draining the shower. All you have to do is get a container full of boiling water (a bucket is fine) and add half a liter of white vinegar inside.
After mixing well, pour the solution into the drains, waiting a few hours before verifying its effects. If everything went the right way, we will no longer have to deal with bad smells.
Another exceptional element for cleaning drains is baking soda, which is also very popular for household cleaning. Also in this case you can use a bucket full of boiling water, where we will dissolve a glass of baking soda inside and then pour the solution down the drains.
The alternative is to put two tablespoons of baking soda directly into the drain, waiting a few hours before pouring the boiling water into the drain itself.
Also coarse salt and citric acid for draining: it will smell a lot again
Coarse salt is another ally that allows us to thoroughly clean the drain and make bad smells disappear forever. Put two tablespoons of coarse salt down the drain and leave it to act overnight.
The next morning you take a bucket of boiling water and pour the liquid into the drain: bad smells will remain just a bad memory.
Finally, citric acid can also be used to intervene on the drain. Just dissolve 150 grams in a liter of hot water: the solution must then be poured into the drain.
After a few hours you can go back to using the shower breathing deeply: the bad smells will be gone.
