To repair holes in the walls of the house, you can follow a very effective method: within 5 minutes everything will be solved.
When you do work around the house, it can always happen that you do some damage that is not repaired immediately. It is not uncommon, in fact, that inside a house there may be a hole in the wall that has not yet been remedied. However, it is advisable to intervene as soon as possible, since in addition to not being the best on an aesthetic level, a hole in the wall is not ideal for the good conservation of the wall itself. Therefore, the time has come to solve this problem and therefore go and close this hole in the wall. To do this, you can rely on some professionals in the sector, who will be able to intervene in the best possible way, bringing the wall back to its original condition.
Repairing holes in the house: a quick and easy method
However, there are methods that allow you to repair a hole in the wall in just 5 minutes. One of these solutions is really quick and easy and could save a good amount of money, since the intervention of a professional requires a lot of money.
The first thing to do is to place a rectangle of plywood at the hole in the wall, cutting a part of plywood about the size of the hole with a grinder.
We get a square, which we will then finish with the grindstone by placing the plywood part on the wall again. In this way we will also mark the size of the square on the wall itself, around the hole.
The next step is to take an electric drill and make ‘spokes’ that start from the hole in the wall and end up on the different sides of the square that we are going to mark on the wall.
By doing so, it will become very easy to detach the pieces of wall, obtaining a hole as wide as the square. Since the opening will not be perfect, it is advisable to finish everything with a grater (one of those we use at the table to grate cheese will be fine).
At this point we will have to create a solid base to be able to better insert the square in the space we have just created. A very simple procedure, since you just need to apply a rectangular piece of wood (placed vertically) to the back of the hole, fixing it to the wall with the appropriate tool.
With this solution, the wall will be as good as new
Once this step has been completed, it is necessary to create the mortar, using a container and water where we are going to insert the material.
Using a trowel we will prepare the mortar that we will then have to use to repair the hole in the wall. We will have to carefully apply the mortar on all sides of the hole and then also on the sides of the plywood square that we made earlier.
