Weather: hellish heat will arrive in many areas. For the next few days, peaks of 40 degrees are announced in our country.
Are you tired of bad weather and storms? Well, in a while they will disappear and the hellish heat will arrive. In our country peaks of 40 degrees are expected, but they will occur in some regions, so if you live there be prepared.
The heat can be unbearable, especially if you live in these regions. Let’s see which are these areas in Italy where the sultry heat is about to come!

Weather, end of bad weather, sultry heat begins
Thursday 6 July should be the last day characterized by bad weather, which has affected the northern areas and some of the center for a few days. After the rains, snowfalls and storms, it seems that everything is destined to change.
In fact, the infernal heat is coming, with peaks of 40°C brought by the new Algerian anticyclone. From Friday 7 July, heat waves could affect the whole country, therefore, with very high temperatures in some regions.
On this Friday, atmospheric instability will therefore decrease and only occasional thunderstorms may be recorded in the western Alpine sector and along the Abruzzo Apennines. In the northern areas where sudden thunderstorms, cloudbursts and downpours broke out until Thursday, from the following day there should be sunshine and intense heat waves.
Between Sunday and Monday, the heat will also take over in the areas in the plains and valleys located between Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland, where there may also be peaks of 36-37 degrees. Only by exceeding 4 thousand meters will it be possible to record the freezing point.
In the rest of Italy, however, there will be sunshine and stable weather. The infernal heat brought by the Saharan desert may also spread to the center and will certainly descend in the southern regions with very high peaks.
Peaks of 40 degrees in Sicily and Sardinia
Everywhere temperatures will be rising, but the strongest heat will be felt in the major islands. In fact, Sicily and Sardinia are affected by the high temperatures brought by the African infernal heat.
In these regions there may be peaks of 40 degrees, which may be unbearable, and in fact it is advisable to stay cool to avoid sunburn and sunstroke. The areas most affected by the strong heat will be those not far from the sea, but even in the inland ones the heat will be felt just the same.
Even in the central regions, however, high temperatures may be recorded, with peaks of 36-38°C, especially in inland areas. In the North, on the other hand, temperatures will remain around 33-34°C, therefore equally high, but decidedly lower than those in the South.

The hellish heat will last until Tuesday
From what we learn from the weather forecast, the infernal heat will last at least until Tuesday of next week, or until July 11. The moment of the most intense heat, however, will occur mainly over the weekend and until Monday, but it could continue until Tuesday.
After this day, temperatures will drop and will be much more pleasant, although there will be no shortage of sunshine. The merit of this further lowering will be due to the entry of a wave of fresh air that will arrive from the Atlantic and will return Cerberus to where he came from, that is, from Algeria.
These data are those currently available, and in fact allow us to predict a drop in heat around the days of 12 and 13 July. If these predictions are confirmed, we will be able to say that the hellish heat waves will be intense but short, as they were in 2022.
However, meteorologists are ready to give new information in case there are variations. In any case, the African heat now invades our country every year, inevitably bringing scorching temperatures, so it is good to be prepared and have everything you need at hand not to get burned.
