To make sure that your clothes are perfectly arranged in your closet, you can rely on the 333 method.

Storing clothes in order in the closet is undoubtedly the best method to always have them well folded and ready to be worn. In addition, in this way we are able to more easily choose the clothes that we have decided to wear for a certain occasion. However, in some cases sorting clothes in the closet can prove to be a real hassle, not to mention a nightmare. Most of us have a lot of clothes that we no longer wear, so it would be better to do a good ‘skimming’ of the clothes we really need. This step alone would allow you to have a much tidier wardrobe.

With the 333 method, the wardrobe will always be tidy: seeing is believing

To ensure that clothes are always very tidy in the closet, you can rely on an innovative method experimented by an American writer and photographer.

Ordering the wardrobe

Courtney Carver, the artist who came up with this solution, figured out how to remove everything superfluous from her life. The writer, after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, chose to approach a minimalist lifestyle, which allowed her to eliminate many unnecessary things and live with much less stress.

Initially his idea started as a project, which took the name of Minimalist Fashion Project 333. However, over time, Courtney Carver’s solution became so successful that it became a method of sorting clothes in the closet. What is the figure 333?

The American writer and photographer has put only 33 items in the closet, including clothes, shoes and various accessories. The challenge was to wear only these 33 items in three months, except for clothing such as pajamas, underwear and jewelry such as the wedding ring.

The first thing to do is therefore to choose the 33 garments and put away everything else, keeping it well out of sight.

Within three months you only have to wear these 33 dresses, although of course you can replace a garment if it breaks or if it no longer corresponds to what you like.

The aim lies precisely in setting aside all those clothes that we can easily do without, so as to prefer the clothes that we like best and that make us feel good about ourselves.

Writer’s method: all the advantages (including economic)

How do you make a very effective list? A good method is to divide clothing into three categories based on the three activities that take place most frequently. Clearly some pieces must be ‘standard’: it is difficult not to think of at least 3/4 pairs of shoes, just to give an example.

Choice of clothes

This method, devised by the writer Courtney Carver, has very interesting advantages. In addition to ensuring much easier cabinet management, the 333 method also allows you to focus much more on quality and not quantity.

To be clearer, we will keep in the closet only the clothes that really represent us and put us at ease, eliminating everything superfluous.

By doing so, we will drastically decrease the time needed to dress and we will also save a good amount, avoiding spending money on clothes that we will wear little or nothing.
