Making a cat bed with old socks
First of all, you need to take old worn and disused socks, and cut them in two parts, eliminating the elastic part of the end. Then you have to cut an edge, so that you can open the sock. Then with the help of a ruler and a marker, you have to make a triangle of fabric.
The triangle of sock obtained must then be placed inside other socks of different colors, in order to obtain 9 triangular pieces in total. After that, with the help of a sewing machine, two overlapping triangle pieces of different colors must be sewn together.
The various triangles of fabric must then be sewn together in such a way as to create an ennagon which must then be ironed carefully. Then you have to take an old dark t-shirt, and apply the geometric figure created in the center. It involves sewing the geometric decoration in the center of the shirt, leaving a triangle open and then cutting out the entire shape.
At this point, the shape must be turned over in the part left without seams, and must be filled with cotton wool. To finish, the side left free must be sewn well. With the leftovers of the socks cut in half, you have to make a sort of cylinder to be stuffed and then sewn to the pillow. This gives you a comfortable DIY cat bed.
