From next week everything will change as far as digital terrestrial is concerned. Below we inform you about all the changes that will take place.
Watching television is one of the activities that many Italian families share. Gathering in front of the screen to watch a series, a program, a talk or other on TV is a moment of sharing. Over the years, however, things have changed and it is no longer possible to turn on the TV with a single button.
It certainly depends on the television, a latest generation will be updated but the older ones will need a decoder. This has been the case since Italy was obliged to switch to digital terrestrial. In reality, this allows you to take advantage of the possibility of adding any services.

Digital terrestrial is therefore nothing more than a new TV signal transmission system, only that instead of being analog it is digital. It will therefore be necessary to have the terrestrial antenna to be able to receive the reception of free channels. But let’s see whatwill change from next week.
Digital terrestrial: here’s what changes
As we have just said, there are changes for digital terrestrial. However, we want to reassure you because this time you will not need to change the TV or decoder in your possession. This has happened since January 1st and now you will continue to watch television but there are changes.
In reality, these changes do not affect all channels but only some specifically. The easiest thing to do therefore is to activate the automatic tuning of the digital terrestrial. In this way, in fact, you will always stay up to date and you will not have unpleasant surprises. Alternatively, you can proceed with manual tuning.

As mentioned, this is not a general change but only some channels. These include:
- Game Award: This channel has been changed. It is located at LCN 416. Also known as the Europa Channel. This channel is only available on TV models that connect to the Internet. Alternatively, you will only see a generic sign.
- Telepontina: added this channel to the Local Mux 3. This is a novelty visible only for the Lazio region. It will be located on LCN channel 89.
- Italia Sera TV: another novelty of Mux Locale 3 which will be on channel LCN 94.
- EuropaTV: latest news from Mux Locale 3 which can be found on LCN channel 114.

Among the other news then also one concerning RAI. It seems that tests have been started for RAI Sport HD. But that’s not all: also another RAI novelty in 4K also on the dtt platform. Nothing official yet, however, but only rumors that arrive on the web.
Few changes for digital terrestrial and many probably won’t even notice it. More channels from the next few days for those who receive the signal in the Lazio region. Then tune in to receive all available channels.
