To make the decorative cushion with leather elements, you have to draw a hexagon with cardboard and then replicate the shape on the leather obtained from the bag. Draw lots of hexagons and then cut out the skin with scissors.
At this point, cut an old pair of trousers from the bottom and make a square to make the pillow. Glue the leather hexagons from the outside, putting a thin layer to stop them, then pass them with the kitchen machine in the center and then backwards, in order to obtain a cross pass.
This pass will fix the hexagons perfectly and they will unstitch. Place the other piece of square from the outside and pass the edge by machine, leaving one side free to then enter the cushion. Turn the pillow from the right side and thread the filling, then sew the side that remained open with a needle. The pillow is ready to decorate your home!
Leather keychain
Making a beautiful leather keychain is simple. Take a piece of leftover leather and cut a rectangle measuring 16cm by 18cm, then thread the zipper you cut out from the pocket in the back of the bag with the sewing machine.
Go along the entire rectangle making a double border and then cut the extra pieces, both from the outside and from the inside. Cut out a very small strip of leather and create a hook that you will fix from the inside with the machine pass.
Apply another piece of leather of the same size on top and go under the presser foot. You made the keychain with an internal hook to hang them.
Sunglasses case from an old bag
To make the sunglasses case, use the stiffer part of the bottom of the bag. Draw two eyeglass silhouettes on the skin with a marker, cut out a strip to create the stopper with a snap button and pass it with the sewing machine.
