As we have just said, many people put cinnamon on the balcony. However, you may not know why, but it may solve a very common problem. Surely on your balcony or terrace unwelcome guests stop including pigeons and other animals. In addition to being invasive, their presence can leave unpleasant memories.
In fact, we could find excrement for the balcony or terrace and this could also cause bad smells. Especially those who have a highly developed sense of smell would smell these unpleasant smells. To make them move away, therefore, cinnamon is enough, which is an excellent repellent.
In fact, it will be enough to take cinnamon that you can easily find at the supermarket. Its price is not high and you can use it both in powder and stick form. Dust can spread on the windowsill and railing. Alternatively, you can create a solution with hot water and cinnamon.
It will then be enough to spray this solution where they usually rest to make them move away. You can also use sticks to be placed in strategic places. For example, in the places where they usually land or where they go to create their nest. They will avoid those areas.
Cinnamon is therefore a repellent and is also very effective because it is completely natural. In fact, it is not harmful to the environment. Natural bird repellents on the balcony
Alternatively, visual, olfactory or ultrasound bollards can also be used. For the visual ones there are sharp iron or plastic strips that push them away. While for olfactory ones we refer mainly to gels or substances that are spread on windowsills.
For the ultrasonic ones, they are nothing more than systems that go to drive birds away. They cover an area of 40 meters and do not hurt humans. They simply release a signal that is perceived as a nuisance to the birds. This way they will move away from your balcony or terrace.
