Keeping your home clean and well sanitized is undoubtedly a very important aspect, which allows you to live inside your apartment in a healthy and satisfying way. In addition to floors and shelves, everything inside the house must be cleaned, in order to avoid accumulations of dust, grease and dirt of all kinds. However, among the various rooms of our house there are furniture that can be really complicated to sanitize. Let’s think, for example, of sofas, which tend to get dirtier than other furniture around the house.

This is because the sofa is a widely used piece of furniture, often also for eating and drinking. Almost all sofas have some stains or in any case formation of dust and various dirt.
That’s why there always comes a time when we can’t do anything but wash the sofa to make it as good as new. A feat that is anything but simple, given that the sofa is a very bulky piece of furniture and is often also characterized by very delicate fabrics.
There is no need to despair, because there are remedies that allow you to better sanitize our sofa. It is better not to rely on chemical solutions that can be easily recovered in special stores. The advice is always to focus on natural and organic solutions.
The first thing to do is to get a basin to fill with hot water. We put just a little hot water inside the basin, so as to cover the bottom. Half a liter should be enough.
Now we will need two other important ingredients, namely baking soda and dish soap. Add a teaspoon of baking soda inside the container where we have already poured the hot water.
Once this is done, we also insert a tablespoon of dish soap inside the container, then stirring everything. That’s not all, because now a third ingredient also of great importance comes into play.
We are talking about shaving foam, the very one that is usually used to shave. Many people don’t know it, but shaving foam has an effective disinfectant action that can also be very useful for washing and thoroughly sanitizing sofas and more

Spray a good amount on the spoon and pour everything into the mixture, always taking care to give it a good stir. At this point, all that remains is to take a soft, clean cloth and immerse it in the solution just obtained.
After soaking it well, spread the cloth on a table and place the lid of a pot on top, then cover it with the cloth itself. Take an elastic band and close the cloth with the lid inside, as if it were a sack.
Holding the knob of the lid we can go and wipe the sofa with the cloth, so as to use the excellent solution to thoroughly clean the furniture.
