With the price increases we see every day, making a €2 detergent is really convenient, using only natural products that we have at home.

After years of buying various commercial detergents, it can be difficult to switch to a homemade version, but that’s exactly what many people are deciding to do.
Make the whole house shine with natural products
In the beginning, it is normal to doubt your ability to produce a household and homemade detergent that really works, but over time you end up gaining more confidence.
Of course, it is the results that count and also those that convince. It’s all about getting started, even with a cleaner that doesn’t pollute and costs only €2.
In short, do homemade detergents really work? Well, many say yes, and the number of admirers increases every day.

Homemade dish soaps really work for cleaning dishes or whatever, because most recipes use effective natural ingredients and detergent cleaners, they contain: baking soda, borax, salt, and citric acid, elements that are often found in commercial dishwasher detergents.
So let’s see how easy it can be to create your own €2 cleanser that actually works and find out why so many choose this option.
How to prepare a 2€ detergent at home
To prepare a homemade detergent we will need:
- 1 cup baking soda,
- 4 teaspoons of fine salt,
- 1/2 cup of liquid Marseille soap,
- 20 drops of essential oil according to your taste,
- 1/2 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.
In a large bowl, first place the cup of baking soda to which we will add the teaspoons of fine salt, then the Marseille soap that we will have made liquid, and finally the drops of essential oil.

Once mixed well, we will take a small part, about a tablespoon to put in a small bowl and to this we will add 1/2 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. With a sponge we can start cleaning the stainless steel kitchen countertop.
With a soft sponge we take a small amount of product, which is particularly suitable for degreasing stainless steel. Once it has passed everywhere we could rinse with a microfiber sponge.
Always with the same product we can move on to cleaning ceramic sinks. Also in this case it will be sufficient to take a small part of the product and pass it into the sink with the sponge from the roughest part.

To clean the steel parts of the taps we can use the soft part of the sponge, but always using the same 2€ detergent that we have just created.
How many times have we fought against the limestone that settles on the walls of our shower? With the same product we have created we can also clean the detested traces of limescale in the shower cubicle. In the end you will only have to rinse to have everything clean and without unsightly stains.
Remove stains from white walls
Those who have preschoolers know how little white walls resist, without the latest work and the signature of the new “Picasso or young Mirò” not showing up in the living room above our beloved sofa.

We can put away the brush and try to treat the stain with the above product instead, this cheap and ecological product can be used for various problems and at a very low cost. A true magic cleaner.
