There are more and more entries and “free” days in Area C, the limited traffic zone located in the center of Milan. Here the entrance ticket starting from October 30 will cost 7.50 euros.

During the city council meeting held on Thursday, an order of the day was approved, first signed by the League, which was also shared by the centre-right, to modify some rules.
With the green light to the budget variation, the Order of the Day was approved with the first signature of the League. First of all, it wants to increase the number of free accesses in the Cerchia dei Bastioni from 40 to 50 for residents of the area. They are also entitled to free access during weekends and holidays. This is what was announced by Samuele Piscina, the city secretary of the Carroccio and city councilor, and by Alessandro Verri, group leader in the municipality.
Amendments, the opposition asks the mayor to step back
Through the amendments, the entire opposition asked the mayor to take a significant step back, for the benefit of the citizens. The League had already started collecting signatures against Mayor Sala’s crazy increases quite some time ago. However, the increases never stopped, indeed they continued without problems, limits and inconveniences.

Carlo Monguzzi, leader of the Greens, says he is against it and declares “The first political act after the disaster is the increase in exemptions in area C. It all ended in a huff”. The accusations against the mayor of Milan never stop, there is talk of a stop to land consumption, a stop to concrete, an energy saving plan that does not work. The objectives set have not been achieved nor has anything been done about it.
Bad weather, the mayor and the president of the Lombardy region did nothing to avoid what happened
First of all, we talk about the climate emergency and everything that has happened in recent days due to bad weather. Probably with the right maintenance many problems could have been avoided, but that’s not how it went.
Citizens now have only one thing to do, clean the city and wait for future changes, even if unfortunately we all know that the next one will be like this too. They will continue to blame climate change. In short, it will continue to be everyone’s fault and at the same time no one’s. We continue to drown in fake propaganda that will not lead to anything concrete.
