To be able to act in depth, it is necessary to remove the grills and burners, so as to have freedom of movement for cleaning the hob. But what is the trick to having a shining oven and stove ? The method is really very simple and takes less time than you might think. All you need is a liter of boiling water, thick and resistant kitchen paper, a small brush, degreaser and more or less abrasive steel wool sponges. Let’s see together how to do it.

Here’s how to get them shiny

When it comes to a deep kitchen cleaning, the oven and stove require maximum cleaning .  The process can start with the burners. Pour a liter of boiling water into a large bowl and soak the burners. Be careful not to put the plates in as well because this would create rust. These can be easily cleaned dry, using a rough steel sponge and dish soap . Once thoroughly cleaned, rinse with running water and dry well. To make the burners shinier, you can rub them with a paper towel moistened with a little olive oil.

It is then time to move on to cleaning the grills . For these, simply cover the entire part to be cleaned with damp paper towel. Then you will have to spray the degreaser on the paper towel and leave it to act for at least 15-30 minutes. In the meantime, you can proceed with the same method for the oven . In this case too, use sheets of very resistant damp paper towel and spray degreaser as desired to leave it to act. During the time the degreaser is acting, you can drain the burners and proceed with cleaning with dish soap and a toothbrush . The time soaked in boiling water will have softened all the residues and encrustations and will allow you to clean more quickly and easily.

After 30 minutes, remove the paper towel where you will see that all the surface dirt has remained attached. In case of more stubborn encrustations, you can remove the residues with an extra fine steel sponge to avoid scratching both the oven and the grills. Once this is done, you can clean everything with a slightly damp sponge, reposition the grills and you will have obtained a shining oven and stove.
