Lemon is a versatile ingredient that can be widely used for household cleaning, primarily for its disinfectant properties . This citrus fruit has natural antibacterial and antiviral properties thanks to citric acid, which makes it an excellent disinfectant for cleaning surfaces such as the sink, bathtub, toilet and kitchen.
It also has a fresh and clean smell, which makes it ideal for eliminating bad odors in the home. Last but not least, it has degreasing and polishing properties.
To proceed with cleaning the washing machine, all you have to do is cut the lemon in half and use part of it .
