To perfume your home, all you need to do is get some pine cones by simply taking a walk in the park or in the woods . In short, anywhere you know that has a pine cone tree. With these you can create bases to perfume your home as you prefer and not only will they perfume but they will also be a furnishing object.
The first thing to do is to clean the pine cone very well . We start by removing all the pine nuts, if there are any, and then pour the pine cone into a container with hot water. Leave it to soak for about 15 minutes to eliminate any traces of dirt. If necessary, you can also use an old toothbrush to clean better.
At this point you will have to dry the pine cone that you have washed well because otherwise it could form mold . You can put it alone or you can turn on the oven and insert it at minimum power or after having previously heated it. At this point you can use it to perfume the house.
So say goodbye to fabric softener and any other commercial product because you will need the pine cone and little else. To perfume the pine cone it must be sprayed with a homemade mixture of water and a few drops of essential oil with the scent you prefer . The solution must be poured into a spray bottle and then sprayed on the pine cone.
It might seem that the steps are finished but it is not . You still have to wait a week. Just put the pine cone in an airtight bag or in a tightly closed glass jar away from humidity. The wood will absorb the sprayed aroma and after the necessary time it will release its perfume .
