The incident with the meatballs containing razor blades inside occurred in the center of Milan, precisely in the Carmelo Bene park on via Caracciolo . A woman was walking with her dog as she had done many other times when she suddenly realized that the animal had swallowed something abnormal.
She took a closer look at what the dog had put in his mouth and what she saw left her speechless: it was a meatball with razor blades mixed into the mixture, destined to cause serious consequences to anyone who swallowed it.
The razor blade could have caused the dog to bleed to death, but luckily the woman managed to pull it out of her furry friend’s mouth, even though she couldn’t avoid injuring her hand with this gesture.
A labrador has undergone surgery
This is not the first time that something like this has happened. It seems that another dog, a three-month-old Labrador, underwent delicate surgery after eating a meatball with razor blades inside. Fortunately, he was also saved, but he risked dying.
The incidents occurred during the night between Wednesday and Thursday and both in the Carmelo Bene park in Milan. It seems that the killer meatballs were scattered on the lawn, available to dogs unaware of eating something so dangerous.
Alessandro Giungi, a Pd city councilor, was informed of the incident. One of the owners of the dogs told him about it. The councilor judged what had happened to be truly cruel , and Marco Granelli, the Security Councilor, said the same thing.
To prevent any other incidents of this kind from happening, the police have posted signs in the park warning of the presence of meatballs with razor blades.
