Are you passionate about gardening, do you have a small garden with flowers and plants but you don’t know how to take care of it? Below we will give you very useful tips.
Home Fertilizer for Your Plants
In order to grow healthily, plants inevitably need fertilizers, considered essential nutrients to ensure flowering and also the life of the plant. It is necessary that the soil is fertile, to give the plant all the necessary substances it needs to grow and develop.
There are so many fertilizers on the market, but today we want to reveal a little trick. Thanks to this, your plants will start flowering again and above all they will be healthy.
If you bought a plant a few days ago and within a short time it has lost its flowers or in any case the flowering has stopped, you absolutely must try this technique.
This method is based on a product that is usually wasted, thrown in the garbage, without knowing that it can be useful for our plants. This magical product is yogurt , considered an excellent food that promotes flowering and activates the growth of plants. Obviously this must be used in the best way. Here’s how.

Water and yogurt, the perfect mix for your plants
How many times have you found yourself having to throw away a yogurt because it expired? From now on, you will no longer have to waste it. It must be a plain yogurt, without sugar and therefore natural. This food is very nutritious, rich in potassium, nitrogen, calcium and magnesium.
You can also use Greek yogurt , experts say it is even better. In a container you should put 5 liters of water, 5 teaspoons of yogurt, so 1 teaspoon for every liter of water. Shake the water well to make sure the yogurt can mix well. In this way, you have obtained an organic fertilizer that will replace the calcium in all the plants, so as not to make them turn yellow anymore, avoiding the risk of their death.
Shake the water well and use it on your plant. The advice is to use the fertilizer once every 30 days. If you have expired or expiring yogurt in the fridge, do not throw it away, but prepare this organic fertilizer, your plants will thank you.
Other natural remedies to use as fertilizers

However, there are other natural remedies that act as fertilizers and some of these are waste products and in most cases end up in the garbage.
To make your plants bloom and reinvigorate you can use coffee grounds. These contain nitrogen, antioxidants that make the soil fertile. You will simply have to spread the coffee grounds on the soil and you will feed your plants in the right way.
Did you know that ash is also considered an excellent natural fertilizer? It is also rich in phosphorus and potassium. However, only wood ash is used and must not be painted or treated. Mix the ash, approximately 200 g per m2, into the soil.
Other remedies? Banana peels are particularly rich in potassium, a nutrient not only for us, but also for our plants. These can be used to fertilize the vegetable garden or simply the plants that are in our garden.
Take the peels and crush them, spreading the pieces not on the surface but a few centimeters deep. There is also another method. This involves macerating the peels in water for about 15 days and then distributing the liquid with a spray bottle over the entire plant. And you, did you know about these natural remedies?
