Green bugs on plants: the best remedies to eliminate them
These insects appear especially in summer and settle on the leaves of plants . The reason is very simple: green stink bugs draw nourishment from the sap of plants.

They do not cause any harm to humans, but on the contrary they can represent a very serious risk for plants.
Fortunately, there are methods to free plants from these insects . Many choose to rely on chemical solutions that are easily found on the market, but the advice is instead to focus more on natural and organic remedies.
For example, garlic macerate is an ideal ingredient to drive away these insects from plants. Preparing this completely natural component is really very simple.
Let’s take some garlic cloves – about 80 grams – and chop them into small pieces, then immerse them in water (about 5 litres, ed.) for about 24 hours.
After this time, all that remains is to filter the mixture and use the liquid obtained to vaporize the foliage of the plants . By doing so, we will have provided the plant with an excellent ally against these insects, which will also keep other parasites away.
Another element that allows the plant to no longer have to deal with green stink bugs is Neem oil . About ten drops of this ingredient are enough: pour them into a liter of water and mix well.
Once this operation is completed, we spray the liquid obtained on the leaves of the plant and the green stink bugs will be just a memory. These insects, in fact, cannot stand the smell of Neem oil.
Marseille soap is also an excellent element to fight green stink bugs and is also easily recoverable, since it is often already present in the house. Let’s dissolve about 30 grams of it in flakes in half a liter of water, making sure to mix everything well.
After letting the solution rest for a short time, put it in a spray bottle and spray the plant, so as to guarantee it excellent protection against green stink bugs.
Tobacco infusion is also an excellent remedy
It is important to spray these natural solutions on the back of the leaves as well , as green stink bugs often tend to hide on the less visible side of the leaf.

Finally, to keep green stink bugs away from plants, you can also try tobacco infusion . The preparation is very simple. Pour half a handful of cigar tobacco into a saucepan with two liters of water, which we will have to bring to a boil.
As soon as the water boils, turn off the heat and let it rest for about three or four hours . After this time, filter the solution obtained and insert the liquid into the spray bottle, so that you can accurately vaporize the plants that are on the balcony or in the garden.
