Cleaning the coffee machine is very important! Dirt on the bottom of the tank can affect the taste and ruin an important part of the day. Of course, because coffee is a ritual: whether at breakfast, in the morning, after lunch or in the afternoon! Preparation should take place slowly, and true connoisseurs have not yet replaced the beloved well-oiled mocha with waffles. It’s a question of principles, or almost: you have to learn to enjoy the wait, the reward is great!
We fill the kettle with water, insert the filter, add magic dust, screw in the binder and wait for the heat to give us that aromatic elixir that will “dominate” our lives.
However, if the aftertaste is spoiled by poor care, the surprise will be bitter in every sense! Therefore, it is better to play in front and always keep it in excellent condition!
We were always told not to use soap and not to put it in the dishwasher. You are right! Detergents risk damaging the metal and releasing substances that completely change the taste of our coffee.
You have to use the right ingredients. What are you waiting for to know what’s next?
First!

How to professionally clean a coffee machine
To offset the mocha without compromising the coffee flavor, use white vinegar!
Dissolve 3 tablespoons in a glass of water , dip a dish sponge in this liquid and then wipe the outer surface with a cloth to polish it.
Use pure vinegar on the bottom , but rub gently.
Then prepare a bowl and pour enough boiling water into it. Add a glass of vinegar and let the dirty water tank soak for about half an hour. During this time, the created solution will dissolve the internal deposits, but also the deposits in the compression chamber and in the flow accelerator (to be clear, the internal parts). After 30 minutes, rinse with running water.
Finally, for a thorough cleaning, fill the boiler with water , the filter with salt and vinegar, then screw it on as when preparing coffee and turn on the gas. Wait for the liquid to drain, turn off the heat and wash. Repeat the process every two weeks to keep the Moka pot in perfect condition.
