An unthinkable ingredient is the one that will make glass brighter than ever: we use it every day.

Very often, it happens that we pass by windows and mirrors again and again but still have stains that persist. Despite the best products, lint sometimes remains from the cloth or paper used for cleaning. So how do you get perfectly clean, streak-free windows and mirrors? The trick is in an unthinkable ingredient.
Cleaning glass and mirrors: the product to use
There are those who prefer to use water and vinegar, those who prefer the most disparate products on the market. Everyone is trying to figure out the best way to clean windows and mirrors while avoiding streaks and stains. You won’t believe it, but one of the best window cleaning products is something that very often ends up unintentionally dirtying the bathroom mirror.
We are talking about shaving foam, a product with a seemingly very greasy consistency that you would never imagine applying to mirrors and windows. But how is it possible that it is a very good product for cleaning?
How to Use Shaving Foam to Prevent Windows from Fogging Up
Using shaving foam as an anti-fog is more than simple and depends on the properties of its ingredients. All you need is two dry cloths on hand (they can be cloth or paper). The first thing to do is to distribute a small amount of shaving foam on the cloth and then spread it on the surface to be treated. As it is a very dense product, large quantities are not necessary, so you have to be very careful to use little product to avoid the opposite effect.
You can then add more if needed. After about 30 seconds, you can proceed with the extraction by simply using the second dry cloth, without using water or detergents. In addition to being a product with excellent degreasing properties, shaving foam, when used in mirrors and bathroom windows, prevents fogging due to heat and humidity.
Uses of Shaving Cream to Clean Crystals
If the solution is satisfactory for bathroom glasses and mirrors, it is also satisfactory for other surfaces, such as car windows. Also in this case, it is enough to use a little shaving foam on a cloth to spread it on the inside of the glass. This way, especially in winter, you will prevent moisture from fogging up the windows.

But not only that, how often do we come across foggy mirrors? Here’s another way that shaving foam comes to our aid, preventing the outside mirror from fogging up in the rain. Returning to domestic uses, the polishing action of shaving foam is especially useful for ceramic hobs, but also for glass tables.
The treatment can be performed on any type of glass or mirror, on shower glass, on the inside of windows and on any other glass surface in the house. In this case, however, pay attention to the type of shaving foam you decide to use, making sure that its smell is not too strong for the environment.
