Hello dear gardeners and gardeners. Today I will tell you how popular dressings will transform tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, without the need for complex fertilizers. Well, as always, I will tell you several toppings and you can choose the one that suits you best. There are many popular recipes that are no worse than store-bought. Let’s get started right away.
We feed tomatoes and cucumbers with sourdough, a fertilizer that is very popular with gardeners. I think that many people have bread left over, we will need about half a loaf of bread better than black, or a crust of it, soak them in warm water for a couple of days, if you add a couple of handfuls of yerba it will be even better and healthier for the plants. The finished infusion should then be diluted 1:10 (1 liter of brewed infusion for every 10 liters of water), sprinkled (pre-strained), or watered from the root.
If you keep the same infusion for 5-7 days (previously cover it with a lid), you will get a very useful fertilizer that we water under the plant, but diluted 1:3, we water 500 ml per bush. Feed once every 7 days when the first ovaries appear and until the end of fruiting. Tincture bread is especially good for alkaline soils. Chalk or dolomite flour, which can be added to this tincture, will help neutralize the acid.
The next one is for tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.
This will be citric acid, don’t be surprised, the most common lemon is an excellent source of energy, especially if the leaves are curving and the plant looks depressed. Take 1 tablespoon for every 10 liters of water, mix and pour 500 ml. under the root.
You won’t burn the plants, don’t be alarmed, please, but this dressing will help eliminate the deficiency of many elements and at the same time reduce the risk, for example, of topped rot in tomatoes, and also quickly revives any plant. When citric acid is used, phosphorus will be more available to plants, and by the way, the amount of citric acid is small, so it cannot acidify the soil.
And the last one is green manure, we prepare an infusion of weeds (nettles, dandelions, etc.), chop them and fill them with water, you can prepare them in a bucket or barrel, you add 200 grams of ash, mix everything and let it rest for 5-7 days (depending on the weather), stirring from time to time, loosely cover the container in which you are preparing the infusion.
Before watering the plants, the prepared infusion should be diluted 1:10 and poured 1 liter into the root, tomatoes and cucumbers. I usually use the infusion 2-3 times per season. I’ll be glad if these fertilizers will help you get a healthy harvest.
