Keeping your home clean and well disinfected is undoubtedly a very important aspect, which allows you to live in your apartment in a healthy and satisfactory way. In addition to the floors and shelves, the entire interior of the house should be cleaned, in order to avoid the accumulation of dust, grease and dirt of all kinds. However, between the different rooms in our home, there are pieces of furniture that can be very difficult to disinfect. Think, for example, of sofas, which tend to get dirtier than other furniture in the house.

In fact, the sofa is a widely used piece of furniture, often also for eating and drinking. Almost all sofas have stains or at least dust and dirt formations.
That’s why there always comes a time when we can’t do anything more than wash the sofa to make it look like new again. Not an easy task, since the sofa is a very large piece of furniture and is often also characterized by very delicate fabrics.
We should not despair, because there are remedies that allow us to disinfect our sofa in the best possible way. It’s best not to rely on chemical solutions that are easily found in specialty stores. The advice is to always favor natural and organic solutions.
The first thing to do is to fill a container with hot water. We simply put some hot water inside the pool, enough to cover the bottom. Half a liter should be enough.
Now we will need two other important ingredients, which are baking soda and dish detergent. Add a teaspoon of baking soda to the inside of the container where we have already poured the hot water.
Once this is done, we also put a tablespoon of dish detergent in the container and then mix it all together. This is not over, because now a third ingredient comes into play, also very important.
We are talking about shaving foam, the same one that is usually used for shaving. Many don’t know this, but shaving foam has an effective disinfectant action that can also be very useful for deep washing and disinfecting sofas and much more.
With shaving foam, the sofa will be clean and smell good
Drizzle a good amount on the spoon and pour it all into the mixture, always making sure to stir well. At this point, all you need to do is take a soft, clean cloth and dip it in the solution you just got.
After soaking it thoroughly, the cloth is spread out on a table and placed on top of a jar lid, then covered with the cloth itself. We take an elastic band and close the fabric with the lid inside, as if it were a bag.
By holding the knob of the lid, we can pass the cloth over the sofa, in order to use the excellent solution to thoroughly clean the furniture.
After a few vigorous passages, you will immediately realize how effective the remedy for sofa hygiene will be. The deepest action is that of the shaving foam, which in addition to killing bacteria also releases a very pleasant aroma.
