Simply add 4 cinnamon sticks to a bowl of coarse salt to solve a pesky problem.

After washing and sanitizing the entire house, everyone loves to enjoy this intoxicating scent that spreads throughout the rooms. However, this fragrance does not last long and in some cases tends to disappear very quickly. A big problem that makes most people constantly clean the house to make sure the smell is always noticeable. However, there are also alternative remedies that keep a wonderful aroma in every corner of the house for a while. In addition, one of these remedies is also very popular because it manages to keep insects away, thus also protecting the plants present in the house.
All you need is cinnamon and salt to make your house smell good – here’s how to do it
In fact, when the warmer months arrive, flies and mosquitoes invade the house again and can often create problems for plants as well. Fortunately, this remedy manages to keep them away, while ensuring a wonderful smell throughout the apartment.

The first thing you have to do is get a small glass container, in which we will add about five tablespoons of coarse salt. Collecting coarse salt shouldn’t be a problem, given that this ingredient is already present in the vast majority of kitchens.
After filling the container with coarse salt (about half), we need to add some fabric softener to the inside of the glass container.
We can use the product we use to make sure our clothes always remain scented. Just add a little to the glass container and shake lightly to wash off the liquid.
As soon as the fabric softener runs out, the third ingredient that characterizes this solution can be added, i.e. cloves. Place a small handful and add more coarse salt until it coats the cloves.
After covering well, we add the fabric softener again, always making sure that it goes down through the coarse salt. At this point, all that remains is to insert the cinnamon sticks into this solution that we are preparing.
Light the cinnamon sticks and enjoy the scent
What should we do? It’s very simple. Take the four cinnamon sticks and insert them vertically into the mixture. You usually need to use four, spacing them out to form four corners, but it’s possible to use even more.

As mentioned above, this remedy is ideal for repelling flies, mosquitoes, and all insects that reappear in the garden, on windowsills, and inside the house in summer.
Plants will appreciate this great defensive tool. In addition, the fragrance that this solution will diffuse will be intoxicating.
All that’s left is to use a lighter to heat the tops of the cinnamon sticks to red, to diffuse the fragrance throughout the house. This remedy can be used in all rooms: effectiveness is immediately guaranteed.
