If you love the peace lily, here’s a natural way to make sure the plant keeps blooming even after many years.

It doesn’t take much to personalize our home and make it as cozy as we’ve always dreamed it would be. Simply complement it with the style that best represents us, adding details here and there that not only speak of us, but make it our heart. Coming home after a day at work conveys a sense of peace and serenity, and if we look around, love what we see, then our mood will continue to improve. Paintings, photographs and designer furniture undoubtedly contribute to the creation of a special place. But if there’s one thing that has the power to make everything more beautiful, it’s definitely nature. Flowers and houseplants fill rooms without ever being too much or out of place. They also adorn the environment with sophistication and elegance, making the living space around them complete, harmonious and extremely relaxing. Among the plants that are ideal for enclosed spaces is the peace lily, which is characterized by its dark green leaves and beautiful white flowers. It is said to bring good luck and, as the name suggests, is a symbol of peace. Taking care of it and making sure it thrives as it deserves is easier than we can imagine. The secret is in the use of a specific ingredient.
How to Make the Peace Lily Grow and Bloom
The peace lily is perfect as a piece of furniture, but we know that the flowering of plants, unfortunately, has a limited period. However, this does not change the fact that the flowers cannot last longer due to proper nutrition and the plant can continue to grow healthily and naturally so that the flower remains beautiful and lush over the years.

All you have to do to achieve this is make a mixture based on tapioca flour and water. This ingredient is considered a natural fertilizer and is extracted directly from the tuber of a tropical plant called cassava. The substances it contains include minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, and many others. Therefore, to feed our lily, we only have to dilute a tablespoon of tapioca flour in 400 ml of water and stir until we have a liquid mixture. Then add more water, continue mixing and transfer everything to another container with a strainer – this step will be used to remove all lumps.
The use of fertilizer based on tapioca flour
After making our fertilizer based on water and tapioca flour in a few minutes, we can proceed to use it. To do this, we only need to transplant it into a watering can and sprinkle it on the soil of the lily, so that the roots of the plant can absorb all the necessary nutrients and thus allow it to grow healthy, beautiful and strong.

It is also good to remember that the peace lily needs water about two or three times a week and that the perfect place in the house is a place that is as cool as possible and not exposed to direct sunlight.
