Also check the roots that are under the soil of the orchid, if they are rotten they are completely dry, this is a sign that the plant is not eating properly and that it is in danger of dying. But the last word has not yet been spoken. In fact, know that it is possible to save it by undergoing hydrotherapy. What is it about? First, pull the plant completely out of the ground. Then remove the roots, which are rotten and no longer contribute anything to the plant. Then check to see if the orchid still has fleshy roots, which are necessary for its rehabilitation. Now take a beaker about 10-15 cm high and soak the roots of the plant throughout the day, remove them at night so that the orchid has a chance to hydrate without rotting. Do this process for a whole week, after which you will notice that the leaves of your orchid revive. At this point, it’s time to put it back in the pot. To maintain proper hydration of the plant, it is advisable to obtain expanded clay, which is placed in the saucer, which is necessary for the continuation of hydrotherapy. Now take the pot and put some soil back into it. Insert the orchid and cover all the roots with more soil. Try to keep the plant straight when transplanting to give it a more vigorous appearance. It also serves to ensure that the plant can absorb water from its roots in the best possible way.
