A moldy shower tray is a nightmare for every woman. Even when we think of the bathroom, we inevitably think of all the sacrifices we have to make to clean it from time to time.

Unfortunately, this effort is not enough, just as bathroom detergent and a jet of water are not enough, especially to avoid removing mold.
Mold forms on the shower tray due to the high concentration of humidity. But don’t worry because there are great ingredients that we all have at home and that we use for a thousand reasons, in different ways, ready to give great results in this case as well.
The first useful ingredient for cleaning
The first fundamental ingredient is baking soda, which has been used by women since ancient times; grandmothers, for example, used it because they found in it important stain remover, cleaning and sanitizing properties. To clean a moldy shower tray, simply prepare four glasses of water, a glass of baking soda and slowly mix the mixture until you get a cream.

Then, apply it to the shower tray and leave it on for at least 10 minutes. Once this is done, rinse everything and it will be practically as good as new. To clean the corners of the shower, the mixture can be applied directly to the stains, then take a sponge with the rough side and start rubbing gently. Finally, he clarifies.
The excellent remedy for removing dirt and mildew stains
Another effective ingredient is vinegar, which has amazing cleansing and degreasing properties. Its whitening action is recognized by all, in fact it is also used to whiten yellowish clothes, to remove stains, to perfume clothes as well as towels or sheets.

Then pour half the amount of vinegar and half the water, then shake well, mix the ingredients, spray the mixture on the shower tray, focusing especially on the dirtiest areas and then leave it on for a few minutes. Finally, scrub it with a sponge and rinse.
Citric acid and lemon, here’s how they can be best used
Another remedy is citric acid, which is considered a true godsend. Mix 150 g of citric acid with a liter of water, pour the mixture over the shower tray, then over the dirty corners, finally leave on for 2 minutes and rub with a non-abrasive sponge that removes dirt without damaging the material of the sheet.

Then there is lemon, which has a particular degreasing action and has always been considered the ally of hygiene and cleanliness. It can be used in two different ways, mixing half a glass of lemon juice with 4 tablespoons of baking soda. The mixture that comes out of it is miraculous and must be rubbed directly on the shower tray. Then, use a toothbrush to remove the dirt.
The second is to strain the juice of a lemon and then pour it directly onto a cloth through which the dirty areas are cleaned. After wiping the cloth soaked in lemon juice over the affected areas, let the substance sit for an hour and then rinse with a sponge and plenty of water.
The wadding trick that always works and never disappoints
Not many people know this, but it really works. This is the cotton trick of preparing a mixture with 400 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, two tablespoons of baking soda and one of fine salt.

Then dissolve the baking soda and salt in the water, bring the mixture to a boil, then add the hydrogen peroxide, turn off the heat and wait for the mixture to become homogeneous. Dip the cotton balls in the solution and, without draining them, pass them through the moldy shower tray. As with all other ingredients, leave on for an hour and then rinse thoroughly.
Thanks to these tricks, the shower will shine again and every time you enter the bathroom, what you will smell in the air will be a sweet, clean, fresh and light aroma. Those who use these remedies to clean a moldy shower tray do not feel the need to spray perfumes or deodorants.
